CPA Eunice Akoth

CPA Eunice is a highly effective and outstanding professional with substantial Accounting, Auditing and Management experience in a dynamic environment. She contributes effectively by continually honoring professional skills and competencies. She is result oriented and a team player. Eunice holds a Bachelor of Business Management [Finance & Banking] from Moi University and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya with a practicing licence. Eunice is a holder of a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi.
She has conducted hundreds of external audits for various Profit Making institutions and Non – Governmental organizations both locally and internationally, carrying out managerial and Supervisory/Leadership role of leading teams to do Audit & Investigation assignments, Conducting expenditure verification audits for European Commission and reporting in their format, Conducting procurement audits and tender evaluation, preparing financial policy manuals, Assigning work, and offering on-the-job training to Audit Associates to enable them perform specific audit procedures, Developed an audit guidelines on audit procedures.

CPA Steve P. Lombo

Steve Lombo is a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA-k) as well as a Certified Public Secretary (CPS-k). He also holds Msc Finance, a Bsc. in Information Technology from the University of Sunderland and IMIS Higher Diploma.

He is a highly motivated professional with a wealth of experience as Finance Manager for over ten years in the Non-profit sector. He also sits on the board of governance for several NGOs and religious organizations.

Steve has an outstanding professional experience in Financial Modeling, Strategic Management, Taxation, Accounting systems, Governance, and Human Resource practice. Steve is a member in good standing with ICPAK and ICPSK (Member No 2960). He is also a registered Tax Agent with the Kenya Revenue Authority.

Services

We currently provide professional services in the following areas:-

Auditing

Statutory Audit

We carry out statutory audits as required under International Auditing Standards. During our audits, we evaluate the internal control systems of a client to determine their effectiveness and reliability in the preparation of the final accounts. We carry out detailed sample vouching to determine if transactions are valid, accurate and complete. We carry out tests to ensure that all the transactions are correctly recorded in the books of accounts and posted to the ledger. We review the payroll to ensure its accuracy and compliance with staff contracts and all relevant statutory requirements. We review in detail the trial balance, and draft financial statements and check on compliance to binding contractual regulatory bodies requirements.

Pension Audit

We also provide pension audits to various clients and assist with the filing of returns with the Retirement Benefits Authority.

Taxation

We provide full Tax advisory services on personal income tax, corporation tax, Value Added Tax, Stamp Duty, Investment deductions and Export Processing Zone (EPZ). We review and provide advisory services on other statutory deductions. We assist in filing of the required tax returns. Whenever a client has a tax audit, investigation, or audit by the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) we act as their tax agents and take all the questions as well as give the details the authority may require.

Accountancy

We design forms and vouchers used in the processing of transactions. We assist our clients in developing appropriate filing and storage systems for vouchers, financial documents and reports.
We assist our clients to establish relevant accounting systems that will produce the needed financial statements that are appropriate for the client.

Financial Management

We evaluate a client’s financial procedures and policies to ensure that they have fully incorporated all and necessary relevant internal controls. We assist our clients to come up with appropriate financial procedures and policies manual suitable for their organization. We provide financial analysis, evaluation and advisory services for improvement and efficiency of an entity’s financial management. We also provide cash flow advisory services for both medium to long-term periods.
